Speaking Topics

Refreshingly Frank

News Flash!
“I never had sex with that woman!”
“We are invading Iraq because of the weapons of mass destruction they have.”
“You can’t handle the truth!”

We can handle the truth and it is time we did. It’s time to speak the truth, demand the truth, and be prepared for the truth, ugly and as inconvenient as it may be.
We need to speak about the situations we have got ourselves in, both at home and in the geopolitical world, with the relief of truth.
Wouldn’t it be music to your ears to hear one of our leaders say, “I screwed up. I got this wrong.” And then not defend or justify themselves, but instead move on to more powerful choices and solutions.

In this keynote, Christine takes a difficult subject and interjects some levity, without ever shirking the seriousness of the topic.

Sharing some entertaining anecdotes about truth or lack of, highlighting some of the reasons why we don’t, won’t or can’t speak up, Refreshingly Frank will entertain, stimulate and inspire you.

Dare to Care

Care and Compassion are not common worlds in the world of the corporate bottom line. We look upon them as soft, feminine, and contrary to our goals of profit, more success, more stuff.
Daring to do anything is for the entrepreneurial adventurer, the risk taker, the person who couldn’t care less about what you think.
Daring and caring together… what does this mean?

It means that what you think of me is less important than my caring for you. That I dare to care enough about you to support you in being your best self. It is the yin and yang, the soft and the hard, the love and the bottom line. Not one or the other. Both and.

Daring to Care requires more courage and skill than the hard nosed mercenary, who simply resorts to bullying and bad manners.

In this keynote, Christine will provide you with some powerful models to support you in Daring to Care. She will also demonstrate how Daring and Caring creates results beyond the ordinary, and will be a requirement for successful businesses in the future. This talk is provocative, educational, and very inspirational.

I am a Verb.

I am verb, an evolutionary process. In the course of my life I have consumed so many tons of food, and the body I left yesterday to sleep is not the same body that wakes today. I am forever and only changing.

These words, expressed by R. Buckminster Fuller, gives us cause to rethink the way we see ourselves.

If change is the only constant, who do we approach it? Do we yell, “Bring it on!” or do we work like fiends to keep the status quo? Are we open and flexible, or closed and rigid? How important is our ability to adapt and flow with change relevant for these times? What are the changes that are coming, how will they affect us, and what do we need to do to prepare.

These questions and more will be examined in this keynote-designed to take the audience on a self reflective journey that will reframe their perspective and give them powerful reasons to loosen the binds that prohibit their own healthy change.
